Drawing the Line

Eight members of Review Textiles are putting together a show of new work for the Liverpool Biennial. ‘Drawing the Line ‘.The venue is the centrally placed Liverpool.

Eimear Kavanagh is working with yoga energy lines and chakras.

Sue Boardman has devised a garment reflecting the vast seascapes near her coastal home.

Marion Roberts’ banners reference minute plankton shapes and seeds.

Rosey Paul is using felt and light to examine horizontal land and sea shapes.

Yvonne Deegan is making contrasting coats to reflect very different landscapes.

Janet Wilkinson is getting inspired by a collection of unwanted  iron on embroidery transfer patterns.

Judith Railton encapsulates elements of six Wirral coastal towns in garment-like structures, joined by a line of music.

Jen Fenner will be utalising the urban landscape through drawing printmaking and laser engraving. This work will look at the the relationship of patterns within the cities landscape and explore a mix of autographical and digital processes to create interesting design peices.
